Why we exist

Most WordPress sites are built once and then quietly neglected. Plugins go out of date, backups are never tested, speed decays, and everything runs fine right up until the day it does not. We started WP Maintenance Packages because the businesses hit hardest by that neglect are the ones least equipped to handle it: the local service company, the small store, the founder wearing ten hats. They do not need a lecture on server logs. They need someone to just handle it.

So that is what we do. Flat monthly packages, real WordPress developers, and a promise that the boring, critical work — updates, security, backups, speed, monitoring — actually happens every week, whether or not anyone is looking.

How we work

Three principles run through everything:

Specialists, not generalists. We work on WordPress and WooCommerce exclusively. WordPress powers a large share of the web and has its own threat landscape, update rhythm and performance quirks. Prevention over firefighting. Every update is backed up first and tested. Security is layered and monitored continuously. Backups run daily and off-site. The goal is that emergencies rarely happen, and when they do, they are a quick fix rather than a crisis.

Honesty, even when it costs us a sale. If the cheaper plan is the right one for your site, we say so. If you do not need us at all, we say that too. Trust is the entire business; we are not going to trade it for one upsell.

Our methodology

Every site we take on goes through the same onboarding process. We start with a full audit covering security posture, plugin and theme health, Core Web Vitals, backup configuration, and SEO baselines. That audit produces a prioritised fix list; critical issues are resolved before the first billing cycle ends. From there, the site enters our weekly maintenance rhythm: staged updates on a test layer before they touch production, daily off-site backups verified by automated restore tests, continuous uptime and malware monitoring, and monthly performance checks benchmarked against Google's field data thresholds.

We track every action in a shared maintenance log so you always know exactly what was done and when. No black-box reports, no vague summaries. If an update caused a conflict, you see the rollback and the fix. If page speed improved, you see the before and after numbers.

Tools and infrastructure

Our stack is built around reliability and speed. We use ManageWP and custom tooling for bulk update management across client sites, Wordfence and Sucuri for security scanning, UpdraftPlus for encrypted off-site backups to separate cloud storage, and LiteSpeed Cache or WP Rocket for server-level performance tuning. For monitoring, we rely on UptimeRobot for availability checks and Google Search Console for crawl health. Every tool is chosen because it does one job well, not because it has the longest feature list.

Who is behind it

WP Maintenance Packages is led by Bhupesh Rathore, founder of ThinkFlow Media, with over eight years working in SEO, WordPress and website growth across more than a hundred sites. Before launching a dedicated maintenance service, Bhupesh spent years building and optimising WordPress sites for clients across the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia, eventually speaking at the Chiang Mai SEO Conference in 2025 on the intersection of technical SEO and site reliability.

The decision to focus entirely on maintenance came from a pattern that repeated across every client engagement: the sites that performed best long-term were the ones with disciplined, ongoing care, not a one-time build and a hope for the best. WP Maintenance Packages exists to make that care accessible to businesses that cannot justify a full-time developer but need more than a plugin and a prayer.
